I almost felt the light of this legend fading with time.

Y eso no lo podemos permitir.
Durante generaciones, su voz nos acompañó en el exilio, en las salas de nuestras casas, en los carros, en las conversaciones familiares. No contaba chistes solamente. Con inteligencia y valentía, abrió un camino propio y nos enseñó a reírnos incluso cuando no era fácil hacerlo.
