Dit jaar gaan we dynamiet op het toneel gooien, buckle up. 💥
Samen maken wij een radicaal nieuwe bewerking van Oroonoko: een 17-eeuwse novelle van de omstreden, vrouwelijke schrijver Aphra Behn. Een onterecht onbekend verhaal over macht en onmacht, liefde en afgunst, vrijheid en onderdrukking, over koningen en tot slaaf gemaakten.
Voor dit muzikale relaas halen we inspiratie uit Surinaamse kawina en westerse 17-eeuwse hofmuziek, gemixt met elektronische beats.
