Continually are proud to present Tonchius – Waiting for Tee EP, the long-anticipated debut EP from Continually label head and boss-lady Tonchius. This four-tracker move between steady percussion rhythms, minimalistic acid grooves, electro-breaks, and rooted in the raw energy of hardware drum machines and synthesizers. Crafted over several years, each track weaves together influences from Norwegian woods, mythology, and layered electronic soundscapes. A-side opens with “Metawoods” which builds on hypnotic evolving acid lines and grounded percussion, while “Ørret” continues the acid with a psychedelic flavour. On the flip-side, the title track “Waiting for Tee” pushes into bass-filled and breaky patterns, before “Pica Pollo” rounds off with a playful, percussive flow carried by a dreamstate foundation.

👽 ‘Red Moon’ by Ruton, released on the Norwegian label Continually, is a striking track that effortlessly blends acid funk tech with a deeply immersive atmosphere. The track kicks off with a darting beat that immediately grabs attention, complemented by spicy hi-hats that lay down a quick, captivating rhythm. As the track progresses, the hi-hat work intensifies, growing increasingly intricate and complex, adding a dynamic energy that keeps listeners on their toes.

A brief but powerful vocal sample suddenly cuts through the layers, declaring “Massive” — possibly a reference to the ‘Red Moon’ in the title, adding an enigmatic edge to the composition. The groove that follows is strange yet irresistibly upbeat, creating a tension between the danceable rhythm and the eerie synth notes that evoke a sense of wandering through a metaphorical forest under a crimson-red moon.
