It was disappointing to receive all these works from my residency damaged in the mail. But I learned so much making them that I think the next iteration will be even stronger. Because they are all stemmed from the same root.

I’m so excited to be bringing my gallery project @under.the.pale.blue back to life ✨

This May, under the pale blue will be showcasing three New York–based artists — @adinaandrus, @mitchellcraigstudio, and @beatrizzwilliams — at @futurefairs.

Their work explores the connections between identity, spirit, and the natural environments we inhabit. Across painting and ceramics, their practices come together through a shared sensitivity to connection and the act of careful listening.
