Yesterday I learnt a lot about olive 🫒 trees!

The centrepiece of our garden is going to be this tree 🥹

We went to @gardengrowntrees in Flinders with our landscaper @_____fields @nathanburkett.nbla to select our tree. I loved that all of these trees come from other properties and are rehomed! 🌳 it was so fun to choose our tree…a great small business that deserves a shout out!

Last week in Toorak we planted these amazing Washingtonia Palms for @nathanburkett.nbla
Six metres tall. Up to three tonnes each.
Advanced trees are not for the inexperienced.
The logistics, the cranage, the placement, the aftercare. Every step matters.

An exceptional new @_____fields build taking shape on the coast. With the hardscaping now complete, it’s time to move into the next phase: installing drainage, laying turf and bringing the space to life with beautifully curated garden beds.

A new chapter unfolding in Red Hill 🌾
Jake, our newest supervisor, takes us on site at this incredible Mornington Peninsula project, set on sweeping acreage and anchored by a minimalist modern farmhouse.
With an @nathanburkett.nbla landscape as the vision, @_____fields has already commenced earthworks, shaping the land in preparation for what’s to come. Meanwhile, @featurepools is making serious progress on an infinity-edge pool that appears to dissolve straight into the countryside.
A project where architecture, landscape and setting speak the same language…and we’re only just getting started. This is one to watch!

This @nathanburkett.nbla designed entry garden, constructed by @Fields, sets the vibe for our Point Cook client’s home. Layered perennials and soft grasses weave through clipped forms, creating movement, texture and year-round structure. Thoughtfully placed steppers and subtle level changes guide you through the landscape, while feature trees soften and complement the home’s clean architectural lines.

A refined arrival that feels both contemporary and lush.

@_____fields Canterbury project is awash with greenery 🌿
Clipped Buxus spheres bring structure and rhythm, set against the glossy, bold foliage of Ligularia reniformis. Underfoot, a soft carpet of Dichondra repens weaves between the steppers, blurring the line between hardscape and garden.

As you move through to the rear, you walk past a calming field of lavender, filling the garden with texture, movement and scent.

Designed by @nathanburkett.nbla and maintained beautifully by @botanichorticulture, this garden is a seamless blend of form, softness and seasonal abundance.
