℘ Chu Zhan - the stage of growth when the buds are just beginning to open

Robbin’s journey with tea began when a Chinese tea master opened the door to a world she never knew existed. What started as curiosity soon became something much deeper. Through tea, she discovered layers of culture and meaning that mirrored her relationship with music—both grounded in listening, presence, and an openness to life’s subtle nuances.

As her path with tea unfolded, her respect for its history and the cultures surrounding it continued to grow. When she drinks tea, she feels connected to the people who live with the plants, who care for the land, and who protect the forests. Through taste, the mountains and riverbeds where the tea grows become present, deepening her connection and love for tea over time.

This journey led her to create blend, a project exploring the intersection of tea and music cultures, and cultivating spaces for shared experience and connection. Robbin’s dream is to keep learning from this ancient wisdom—deepening her practice both personally and in ways that can be shared with others.
