NOW IS THE TIME! Trump is openly calling to commit genocide in Iran. He declared “a whole civilization will die tonight” in a post threatening Iran. Beyond passing the War Powers Resolution, Congress must impeach Trump. The 92 million people of Iran are at grave risk of harm from a deranged man who has more than overstepped his authority as president and is threatening war crimes and genocide.

Take action: Tell your Members of Congress to take action to impeach Trump and remove him from office.

Microsoft must stop supporting mass kidnappings of our families and neighbors in the U.S. and Israel’s ongoing genocide in Palestine.

The through line between Microsoft’s contracts with ICE and its contracts with the Israeli military is tech complicity in mass surveillance — aiding violent kidnappings in the U.S. and genocide in Palestine.

Let’s be clear: Mass surveillance does not keep us safe. It keeps us watched.

That’s why, as ICE invades our cities, schools, and workplaces, we are demanding that Microsoft stop aiding mass kidnappings in the U.S. and stop powering genocide in Palestine.

Microsoft hides its support for ICE through third-party contracting with Dell. Research shows $20 million in contracts between ICE and Dell Federal Systems for Microsoft software.

After relentless organizing from No Azure for Apartheid workers, exposés in the press, and pressure from community activists like you, the company ended one part of their contract with Israel. Now, we are in a strong position to pressure the company further.

Join us in calling for Microsoft to divest from mass kidnappings of our families and neighbors in the U.S. and Israel’s ongoing genocide in Palestine.

Take action: mpowerchange.org/microsoft

HISTORIC: The Senate for the first time has voted to *advance* the Iran War Powers Resolution, 50-47. This is HUGE.

Republican Senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Rand Paul, and Bill Cassidy joined Democrats to advance the resolution to end Trump’s war on Iran.

Democratic Sen. John Fetterman was the only Democrat to join the majority of Republicans voting against Sen. Kaine’s Iran War Powers Resolution.

Onward!

The House is expected to vote on Rep. Meeks' Iran War Powers Resolution as early as this Thursday.

Email and call your House member and tell them to vote YES!

Our Executive Director, Linda Sarsour, joined Democracy Now to speak on the horrific shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego that took place yesterday, May 18th.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by this tragedy. We ask Allah (SWT) to grant healing to the injured, comfort to the families, and protection over our communities. May Allah surround those affected with mercy, grant them sabr during this difficult time, and keep all of us steadfast in unity against hate and violence.

From Allah we came and to Allah is our return. We are saddened at the shooting that took place at the Islamic Center of San Diego earlier today. We condemn this act of violence and pray for the martyred security guard who was protecting the mosque, Amin Abdullah, and all others who were killed.

Here is a clip of Imam Taha Hassane addressing the community.

Donate to this fundraiser supporting the individuals and family impacted by this tragic shooting. Link in bio.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib re-introduced the resolution “Recognizing the Ongoing Nakba and Palestinian Refugees’ Rights” with a record 12 original co-sponsors.

The Nakba did not end in 1948. Palestinians continue to face forced displacement, land theft, siege, and genocide today.

ACT NOW at mpoweraction.org/nakba. Tell Congress to support this historic resolution and end U.S. complicity in Israel’s violence against Palestinians. Link in bio.

JVP Milwaukee member Jodi Melamed, along with Kareem Sarsour, and Lawyer Munjed Ahmad appeared on Democracy Now! to talk about the abduction of Milwaukee community member Salah Sarsour.

As Jews we stand in solidarity with our dear friend Salah Sarsour, a long time Palestinian Milwaukee resident, who has lived in the United States for over 32 years. Salah was abducted by 12 federal agents on March 30. He is now in detention, facing deportation. We condemn the terror and injustice being levied against Salah. We are determined not to let ICE take our beloved community member away from us.

Salah is the backbone of so many good works and mitzvahs in our community. We demand his immediate release and the dropping of all charges against him.

As Jews for a free Palestine, we cannot be silent. Sign a petition now and email your reps to demand Salah’s release from ICE detention.

Salah Sarsour, a Palestinian American community leader, husband, father, and president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, was taken by ICE after 12 federal vehicles surrounded his neighborhood and arrested him in front of his community. He has now been held in ICE detention in Indiana since March 30th.

Salah has been a lawful permanent resident in the U.S. for over 30 years. His detention is part of a growing pattern of targeting Palestinians, Muslims, and advocates speaking out for justice in Palestine.

From Mahmoud Khalil to Rümeysa Öztürk, we are witnessing the criminalization of Palestinian advocacy and the abuse of federal power to silence dissent.

Milwaukee leaders, community members, and Members of Congress have already spoken out. Now we need more voices demanding justice.

Tell Congress at mpoweraction.org/freesalah.
Free Salah Sarsour now.
End the persecution of Palestinians speaking out for peace and justice.

🚨MICROSOFT ATTEMPTS QUIET GOODBYE FOR WAR CRIMINAL TO AVOID ACCOUNTABILITY

Last week, Microsoft quietly announced the departure of war criminal Alon Haimovich, who will remain in his current role as Microsoft Israel General Manager until the end of this month, with a send-off highlighting his tenure at the company in an obscure statement only visible on Microsoft's EMEA news site when the language is set to Hebrew. Microsoft's farewell left out how Haimovich oversaw the development of digital weaponry for the Israeli military to help accelerate the first AI-powered genocide under the direction of Satya Nadella, after the Microsoft CEO personally met with the head of the Israeli military's spy unit in late 2021. Nadella and other executives who greenlight these sales continue to face zero repercussions.

Microsoft's decision comes at the heels of relentless pressure from our campaign as well as the the collective efforts of countless workers and partners around the world, who have persisted in the face of firings, arrests, prosecution, brutalization, and sanctions for speaking up about Microsoft's war crimes. As Microsoft continues its pattern of conducting sham investigations, they continue colluding with and supplying cloud and AI arms to the Israeli military and government to power occupation, genocide, and apartheid in Palestine. We refuse to allow Microsoft leadership to scapegoat one or a handful of subordinates in order to avoid accountability for their decision to be complicit in genocide. Satya Nadella, Brad Smith, and other Microsoft executives must be held accountable for their crimes, and must answer the workers’ demands to end this collusion and cut off all ties with the Israeli military and government immediately.

This Mother’s Day, remember the mothers of East Turkistan and the ongoing genocide against the Uyghur people.
