It is shameful that the remaining Senators are willing to continue arming a genocide.

92% of Democrats oppose Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.

Yet earlier this month, 15 Democratic Members of Congress went on an AIPAC-funded trip to Israel anyway while tens of thousands of Palestinians are being massacred and Gaza is reduced to rubble.

AIPAC is a political liability. No Member of Congress should be taking their money or their trips while Israel bombs hospitals, starves civilians, and destroys entire neighborhoods.

Our Executive Director, Linda Sarsour, joined Democracy Now to speak on the horrific shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego that took place yesterday, May 18th.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by this tragedy. We ask Allah (SWT) to grant healing to the injured, comfort to the families, and protection over our communities. May Allah surround those affected with mercy, grant them sabr during this difficult time, and keep all of us steadfast in unity against hate and violence.

From Allah we came and to Allah is our return. We are saddened at the shooting that took place at the Islamic Center of San Diego earlier today. We condemn this act of violence and pray for the martyred security guard who was protecting the mosque, Amin Abdullah, and all others who were killed.

ICE and CBP already received record funding last year. 🚨BREAKING: The vast majority of the Democratic caucus (40 Senators) has voted tonight to block arms to Israel.

We thank the Senators who stood on the right side of history by voting YES on Sen. Bernie Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to block bombs and bulldozers to Israel used to carry out mass killings against civilians in Palestine, Iran, and Lebanon.

It is indefensible that any Senator would continue to support arming these atrocities in violation of US and international humanitarian law. Every vote against these resolutions is a vote to prolong genocide, ethnic cleansing, and the illegal wars and indiscriminate bombing campaigns against Iran and Lebanon.
