Beginning [yesterday], January 14 through August 24, 2026 (exclusive use period), the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center will serve as FIFA’s International Broadcast Center (IBC) for the FIFA World Cup.

This is a tremendous moment for Dallas and a point of pride for our city. The IBC will function as the global hub for television, radio, and digital coverage of the World Cup, welcoming thousands of international broadcasters and media professionals from around the world. Dallas will be at the heart of one of the most-watched sporting events on the planet, with broadcasts reaching billions of fans across more than 200 countries.

The exclusive use period includes time for the careful setup of broadcast operations (January through early May), the active operational phase (late May through the end of the tournament), and the dismantling of the facility following the World Cup (late July and August). Throughout this time, the Convention Center will be fully dedicated to FIFA’s broadcast operations. Access to the facility will be limited to individuals with approved credentials.

This event highlights our city’s ability to host world-class events and reinforces Dallas’s reputation as a premier international destination.
