Miles Holder: When you finish a project, do your characters stay with you?

Rudy Pankow: Definitely. Every character teaches you something. It’s almost like a symbiotic relationship, you give something to the character, and the character gives something back to you. Of course, depending on the character, there are times when you want to leave most of it behind, especially if it’s a darker role. But taking something away from each experience is important.
