My grandpa has been one of my heroes my whole life. As a farmer, he taught me what it means to love the earth, to care deeply for the beings within it, and what true hard work looks like.

This Christmas, we’re adding his 11th great-grandchild, Oakley, to our family—a new life to carry on the legacy he’s built. And my grandpa, my Papa Boy, gave us a gift that speaks to decades of calloused hands and quiet strength, to a life spent outdoors in every season, rain or shine—his very first @carhartt work jacket.

Carhartt has been my family’s choice of workwear my whole life, and it is my joy to have our firstborn gifted his first Carhartt by none other than the hardest working man I’ve ever met, my Papa.

🍯Let’s do it! 🍯 honey house is in FULL SWING as we crank on getting Atlanta’s honey extracted as quickly as possible! The honey house sits at about 90-95 degrees in order to keep the honey warm and flowing easily. It’s hot, sticky, and labor intensive work, but it is truly such a fine time of to see a year’s worth of work come to fruition!

The hives at the Angus Barn are thriving thanks to our friends at @beedowntown, who help maintain them for us. These busy bees produce the delicious jarred honey available in our Country Store — and that same honey is even featured in some of our signature cocktails 🥃🍯🐝

2026 Honey Extraction has bee-gun🐝 40,000 pounds of honey…HERE. WE. COME.🍯

A queen whose beauty is worthy of a forever grid post👑🐝. All queens are beautiful to see in a hive, but those particular beauty made us stop and stare!

Hive in the sky! The honey flow is in FULL SWING in Atlanta, GA! Each honey super (7 on this hive) holds about 30 pounds of honey inside it. That means this BEE-AST has about 200 pounds of liquid hold hidden inside! One of our specialties at Bee Downtown is our ability to keep our colonies in a way where we are able to surprise and delight our partners with far more honey than the state and national averages of honey production per hive. These ladies will be in our 2026 200 pound honey club for sure!
