The first spring graduates of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation’s $50 million, 10-year HBCU scholarship initiative are crossing the stage this weekend.

For many students, the final barrier to graduation isn’t academic. It’s financial.

To date, nearly 600 students across Clark Atlanta University (@cau1988), Morehouse College (@morehouse1867) and Spelman College (@spelman_college) have received more than $4.2 million in gap funding through the initiative, helping them stay enrolled and complete their degrees.

These stories are a reminder that even small acts of support can create lasting impact for students, families and communities. We hope they inspire continued investment in students working to reach the finish line.

Sabrina Hill left prison determined to rebuild her life, but like many returning citizens, she faced overwhelming barriers: limited job opportunities and financial pressure.

Then she found the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO). ❤️

From day one, Sabrina says the Atlanta team treated her “not like a felon, but like family.” Through @ceoworks, she secured part-time work before landing a full-time role she loves today. Best of all, she was able to reunite with her daughter.

In honor of Mother's Day and #NationalStutteringAwarenessWeek, we’re reflecting on this meaningful advice from Molly Blank, the late mother of our chairman, Arthur M. Blank.

The Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Education and Research @blankcenterstuttering) carries forward Molly’s encouragement by helping ensure that every child, teen and adult who stutters knows their voice matters and deserves to be heard.

Happy Women's History Month!

In our March newsletter, we highlighted women in philanthropy for #WomensHistoryMonth, including Oprah Winfrey, Mackenzie Scott and Melinda French Gates. Women have long been at the heart of American giving, from colonial-era women of faith to today's visionary philanthropists reshaping how wealth flows.

We also highlighted the legacy of Arthur M. Blank's mother, Molly Blank. Molly was a steadfast believer in the power of philanthropy, and the Molly Blank Fund carries forward her dedication to at-risk youth, arts and culture, and Jewish initiatives for generations to come.

On February 11, @trustforpublicland completed a 10-year effort to restore and protect the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge and Temple, the longtime headquarters of Dr. King's Southern Christian Leadership Conference and a gathering place for Atlanta's most influential Black organizations.

This spring, the Lodge will open to the public as the newest addition to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, joining Ebenezer Baptist Church, Dr. King's birth home, the King Center, and more.
