founders with 7 to nearly 20 years bootstrapped, sometimes still building with their own hands.
12+ builders deeply owning what they make as real solutions for real people.
left me, and i think a lot of us, still hopeful about our community. (i don’t wanna say country lol)

weird how social media keeps us marinating in pessimism while these people treat the world like a playground.
and i know there’s way more of them out there in Indonesia, quietly shipping.

i personally believe humans are born to build, not consume endlessly. open source builders today are like rebels in a cyberpunk movie, or master builder in lego movie: the big corpo don’t love them, which is probably a sign they’re doing something right.

optimistic people need to stay close to their own kind. that’s how the energy compounds.
