This July, step into a world where mythology, lineage, beauty, storytelling, and transformation intertwine. Garden of the 9 Muses is an immersive contemporary art exhibition reimagining the Nine Muses through bold oil portraiture on reclaimed wood, layered symbolism, sculptural hair design, and Afro-Realist storytelling.

Each Muse becomes a living archive — embodying creativity, memory, survival, culture, and the unseen connections carried through generations. Through textured surfaces, vibrant color palettes, and immersive installation elements, this exhibition invites you to move beyond simply viewing art… and into experiencing it.

⭐️Obínrin Ti Dè Official Film Poster ⭐️

i created this short film as an homage to the Lijadu Sisters, who in my mind are bonafide rockstars, visionaries, and one of Nigeria’s most revolutionary female musical voices, pivotal to the evolution of afrobeat / afrofunk /alte genre as we know it today. i was inspired by their boldness, outright stubborness, freeness, and their willingness to be unabashedly themselves.

this film is a celebration of womanhood, strength, defiance, and duality— and the fearless act of embodying every version of oneself, an act that often times women, particularly African women, are so often denied.

An immersive experience focused on cultivating mental wellness and community connection through multiple creative mediums.

The program for the day includes an art exhibit, documentary screening, fashion show and panel focused on discussing how to protect one's energy in a society that is hyper-stimulating.

Stories at a campfire or the next best thing - Join us on Thursday 3/19 for an evening of imaginative short films & popcorn at Seven House at 35 Meadow Street in East Williamsburg! In collaboration with @studiobender and @7house.ny, our shop has curated a sample flight for this event, of popcorn’s favorite pairing - that’s sparkling wine, with Champagne the headliner. (N-A options also available, and kids under 10 can catch the first hour of films for free). During the intro and intermission enjoy more snack & sips from our hosts, and the riffs & harmonies of @melissaelledge_accordion.Full rundown: 6-7 Champagne tasting, snacks & live music, 7 thru 7:45 PM First set of films, 7:45 to 8:15 Intermission with more snacks and bubbles, and 8:15-9:30 a second set of films including a final “Cheers”. The night is sure to be a great way to bring on the Spring of 2026 - We and our team of creative hosts David Bender and Seven House all look forward to greeting you for a night at the movies!
