Still can’t believe this happened. A month ago, we braved the summer heat and flew to Japan to perform at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai. Truly an honour to be one of just 10 artists chosen to represent Singapore on a global stage. Seeing the World Expo in person was surreal, and celebrating our 60th National Day in Osaka with Senior Minister @leehsienloong and Senior Minister of State @zaqym made it even more special.

Huge thanks to @kingsmenexperience (shoutout to Chie Yang!) and @stb_sg for taking such great care of us and making this possible. And to the AV dream team — Colin, Andrew and Sam — thank you for pulling it all together.

At Wala Wala Cafe Bar, the stage tells stories, and this May, a familiar favourite returns. 53A brings its signature blend of pop, rock, soul and funk across three special evenings, each with its own character.

On 4 May, settle in with Lisa on keys and Bani on bass. On 9 May, Sara takes to keys and guitar alongside Bani on bass and Helman on percussion. On 11 May, Lisa returns on keys with Amir on guitar. Each night offers a different shade of the sound you know and love, shaped by tight musicianship and an instinct for connection.

Come by, stay awhile, and let the music carry you somewhere familiar. At Wala Wala, it is never just a performance. It is a homecoming.
