about two and a half years ago, almost completely by chance, i wandered into trans-pecos on an unassuming summer day.it was the same summer day that i saw @drmcrshr for the first time.

i had recently graduated with a master's degree from manhattan school of music and was extremely disillusioned (and dissatisfied) with the state of experimental music, and subsequently with my own creative practice. after 6 years of higher education i felt so lost, uninspired, and in many ways really scared of what the future looked like. what i quickly discovered upon leaving the prison cell of academia was that the world outside was boiling over with the most visceral, electrifying, awe-inducing performers beholden to nothing but a unwavering desire to express themselves on their own terms.

dreamcrusher was one of my first (and most important) exposures to this creative environment and i am divinely blessed to share the stage with them tonight alongside my creative partner @yeehawyaz for @heavyhearts_nyc this will be a special one.
