Shelley passed on this afternoon. For the past 15 years + she’s given me the most incredible life. I can’t imagine how I got so lucky. She arrived loving, hilarious, bossy, and beautiful. We will miss her every second of every day forever. Heartbroken doesn’t even scratch the surface.

Brother, the King of Silverwood Terrace, the cat who came in from the cold, has left us to join the cosmos. We are so lucky that he made his home with us. He was a smart, tough, stoic survivor. He was insanely beautiful. He could really caterwaul. He was so very loved by us and he loved us back. He lived a life of a million adventures. We are absolutely heartbroken he’s gone, but relieved that he’s at peace. God, loss is such a terrible feeling.
