An experimentation of pace, emotion, sound and movement through the grain of sound. Named after George Bataille’s collection of words reflecting upon desire and violence, our newborn duo responds to the cathartic melancholia of now.

The soundtrack was made almost entirely with the organ, recorded at St Matthew’s Church in Bethnal Green. Such a journey into this wind machine, the clicking of its keys, breath of its wood pipes, and the slow release of its stops.
