Day #3 🇩🇪 @mikropolberlin
Waking up in Warsaw at 7:00 AM for another massive drive. Touring Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany means hitting incredible cultural capitals, but the distances are immense. With 6–8 hours of highway driving every day, we see very little of the cities our daily “get-in” time is the North Star guiding us straight to the next venue.

The Berlin show itself was a whole new breakthrough. On stage, everything clicked. We all looked at each other mid-set like, “This is wild.” We felt the energy fuse between the three of us and the crowd. With every single show on this tour, we feel ourselves growing tighter as a unit, fueled by the intensity of the road and the pure inspiration of watching @pacificaband crush it every night.

But last night was different. Last night was our hometown, Berlin. Emma and I live here, and we share our East Berlin studio with our live drummer, Felix. Playing a sold-out show in the city we call home, at one of our favorite music clubs, was another ‘first’ for us.

This tour literally would not exist without @felixseefluth . Since Rasmus can’t drive, the road burden falls entirely on Emma and primarily Felix. Felix is a musical and human Swiss Army knife, our brother, driver, and live drummer. He plays every single night like it’s his last on Earth, all while staying the calmest, most positive rock on these exhausting travel days. We love you, man.

We now have a much-needed rest day before the final two shows in Hamburg and Cologne. Martina and Inés, thank you for inviting us into your world. We are a small part of your European leg, but sharing the ride with you is a privilege. You are the kindest, most badass, hardworking people we’ve met. You take zero shortcuts, you give the fans a run for their money, and your trio setup with @coketorresdrums takes absolutely no prisoners 💫

We can’t wait for the final two gigs. Thank you, Berlin!

Coming from the very bottom of New Zealand, Office Dog make music that balances tension, release and emotional weight without ever losing its sense of energy. Their songs often deal with the heavier parts of life, but there’s something warm and deeply human running through them too, the feeling of three friends completely locked into each other on stage.

PHOTOS | Maia and the Squires Celebrate Their Debut EP Release in Berlin

On May 16, 2026, Maia and the Squires celebrated the release of their debut EP “Sinking Into the Ocean” with a heartfelt hometown show at House of Music in Berlin, Germany. Still early into their journey as a band, the quartet already felt completely locked into each other on stage — drifting between dreamy, shoegaze-inspired textures and sudden bursts of noisy, emotional release.

Had a buzzing chat with Mantle, where we discussed their origin story — from creating the band and having a different name before, to taking inspiration from other artists and preparing for their debut headline gig as Mantle on 13 June in @whelanslive ✨

When I first thought about starting this interview series, Mantle were the first band that came to mind to reach out to. Massive thank you to Sean, Jake, Shane and Sean for trusting and supporting the project before even knowing how it would turn out!
