Now remastered and re-released, it’s a track from a time when I was very much into the sound of insects - and how those textures could be translated into rhythm and beats. First written in 2009, it never really left me. I kept coming back to it, and it still feels right to play today.

I have new music in the form of a collaboration with @rroxymore on the compilation “Pioneers” released on @mercurykx

“Pioneers” is a compilation of new collaborations between female and gender expansive electronic artists inspired by pioneering heroines of electronic music like Grace Jones, Laurie Anderson, Wendy Carlos and Éliane Radigue.

rRoxymore and I worked on our track “I’ve Seen That Grace Before” between New York and Europe. I’m really proud of my bass line and Grace Jones-inspired vocals on this, combined with rRoxymore’s signature beats and ambient synths.

The limited vinyl pressing was released exclusively for Record Store Day 2026 and is also available on all streaming platforms (link in bio).

Vinyl copies can be found at Rough Trade and other record stores.

I just wanted to share some shots taken a few weeks ago during golden hour on the Amazon. The light is unlike anything I have seen before, also realising that there is a whole other life on this water.
