This is by far the hardest fish to land on the reef they watch your eyes and one slight change of movement and the whole school is gone ! I got this Mu with my new @evolvediving118 and took a 16-18’ shot and landed it with ease 🤙🏽 #diving #hawaii #spearfishing

No doubt one of the most surreal diving experiences of my life. Over 100 ukus in this school all over 10 pounds in an area I would never expect this to happen. Ended up landing a solid one too.

Grouper for dinner 🎣🩵 Thank you ocean for providing and for nourishing my body. With so much processed stuff being added into food these days, there’s something really special about knowing exactly where my food is coming from. Catching it myself makes me appreciate every meal so much more.

I know this can be hard for some people to see, and I completely respect different perspectives. But when I spear, I only take what we need and nothing more. For me, this feels like one of the most conscious and sustainable ways to eat. No bycatch, no waste, no big commercial fishing industry involved. Just a direct connection to the ocean and a deep respect for the life that feeds us. Still learning so much on this spearfishing journey and excited to keep sharing more of it with you 🌊 Should I show what we made with this fish? 😋
