These healthy bounty bars are sooo good.. but they took a bit longer than we thought 😅

We love treats especially when they are healthy (and gluten-free!!) We’re always trying new recipes and if you have some time, we recommend these!

Healthy bounty bars
1 cup of unsweetened coconut @compliments_ca
3 1/2 tbsp of maple syrup
2 tbsp of coconut oil
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup of melted dark chocolate chips @laurasecord.ca

@drinkpoppi - Raspberry Rose and Cherry Limeade!!

Blend coconut, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract and salt into a food processor or blender (we used our @ninjakitchencanada blender)

Mould them into shapes and place in freezer until they set. Melt dark chocolate chips and dip the bars and cover in chocolate. Place back in freezer to set. Enjoy!

This month our goal is to focus on more smoothies in the morning and walking outside even if it’s really cold out. Plus trying fun spots around Toronto like @lermercafe for coffees and @theacetoronto for brunch. Highly recommend the French toast and duck confit and king oyster mushroom toast 👌🏼

1 cup spinach
1 cup @silk_canada almond milk
1 banana
1 scoop of @botanicahealth protein powder
1 tablespoon of @bobsredmill flaxseed

Joined @resolutionrun.to for a 5k run at the Exhibition Place, and it was the best way to start the new year. Such a great event!
