Please join us in officially welcoming @jackandrewsbass into the fold, having joined Acid Throne in late 2025, picking up bass duties and sharing vocals with Matt on our last few shows of the year.

Jack brings with him a wealth of experience, not only from the great @sleemoband who are good friends and fellow Norwich riff dealers, but also from his involvement in @drongorecords who are putting out some great music and setting up killer shows!

Jack will be with us full-time as we embark on our upcoming tour in February, for the recording of our second album in the Spring, and also for our appearance at the @bloodstockopenairepic 25th anniversary in August.

Neben der Ankündigung einer neuen Band möchten wir heute noch eins drauflegen – nämlich eine weitere Band!
Statt der ursprünglich geplanten 7 Bands wird es dieses Jahr 8 Bands im Lineup geben. Außerdem gibt es noch eine weitere Überraschung, die wir nächste Woche bekannt geben werden.

🔥ACID THRONE🔥 beim Sonus Obscura Festival präsentieren zu dürfen. Die Band steht für eine massive Mischung aus Death Doom, Stoner und psychedelischen Klanglandschaften. Fuzzgetränkte Gitarren, schwere, schleppende Riffs und düstere Atmosphären verschmelzen zu einem Sound, der gleichermaßen erdrückend wie hypnotisch wirkt.

Zwischen brutaler Schwere und tranceartigen Passagen erschaffen ACID THRONE Klangwelten, die euch tief in die dunklen Abgründe des Doom ziehen. Growls treffen auf monumentale Riffs, während sich die Songs langsam aufbauen und in gewaltigen Soundwänden entladen.

Instead of the originally planned 7 bands, this year’s lineup will feature 8 bands. There’s also one more surprise, which we’ll reveal next week.

We are proud to announce
🔥ACID THRONE🔥 for the Sonus Obscura Festival. The band delivers a crushing blend of Death Doom, Stoner and psychedelic soundscapes. Fuzz-soaked guitars, slow and massive riffs, and dark atmospheres merge into a sound that feels both oppressive and hypnotic.

Moving between sheer heaviness and trance-like passages, ACID THRONE create sonic landscapes that drag you deep into the abyss of doom. Growling vocals collide with monumental riffs while the songs slowly build and erupt into towering walls of sound.

Headlining the first LFP show of 2026, hailing from East Anglia - bend the knee for ACID THRONE. Rapidly making waves as one of the premier doom bands in the UK, they blend bludgeoning dense riffs with cold blackened atmospherics.
