After two years on the festival circuit Bestial Ones is finally making its online premiere as part of the @vimeo Staff Picks! This film is so special to me, and I am delighted to finally share it with the world.

My eternal gratitude to anyone who lent a hand in the making of this film. To the incredibly hardworking and talented cast and crew who poured so much of themselves into this film, the generous donators and anyone who gave support along the way — from the bottom of my heart thank you. And thank you to the curator’s at Staff Picks for believing in the film and giving us this platform.

It was such a pleasure to attend the @_onepointfour awards last week, made even sweeter by Bestial Ones winning Silver for Best Short Film in the In The Making category. Thanks so much to the organizers and the jury for this wonderful honor.

I am so humbled. Thursday night I won an Emerging Director Award for my work on Bestial Ones. This is such an honour, and thank you to all the judges, the organizers and everyone else involved in both the film and the event. We poured so much of ourselves into this film and to know that it resonates with people is sweeter than any sort of accolade. Big, big love to you all.

Last Friday I graduated from film school with a 1st class honours degree in directing. I was also delighted to discover that I received the Screen Director’s Guild of Ireland award for outstanding direction and student of the year. This is such an honor, and a very big deal for me. I made it through High School by the skin of my teeth, and never had plans to pursue education further, so to receive these accolades means the world to me. The past four years have been a whirlwind — I gained friends, lost friends and discovered so much about myself and my craft. Shoutout to my amazing partner @aoifafamoon, my family and my friends. I couldn’t have done this without you, and your love and support means the world to me. The biggest amounts of love to you 🖤
