Shri Rama Drawing on Ram Setu in Talaimannar in Srilanka .
I visited the site of Rama Setu in Srilanka. The mythical bridge constructed by Vanarsena is 48 kilometres long and connects Rameshwaram to Mannar. I drew Shri Rama image on the sand . He is in a meditating position thinking about how his name is being misused for selfish political motives . Jai Shri Ram.

THE PRICESS WHO CONVERTED THE PRINCE INTO A FROG!
On the @indigo 6e flight from Bangalore to Colombo I was attracted to a photograph in their Hello magazine . The picture was of a model in white dress. I decided to draw on the photo and a picture happened. The princess with a magic wand who converted the prince into a frog at 35000 feet above the ground while he was trying to abduct her!

Something different but Something I absolutely wanted to share.

We stumbled across @museumofgoa on our recent trip to Goa, and I honestly loved it. The art pieces brought me closer to the culture of Goa. Be it their food, their history, their people, I feel like I know them a little better now. I wanted to share my experience so it reaches the people who are curious about learning more about the place.

And no, you don't necessarily need to understand "art" to understand what these stunning pieces really depict.

RHINO TO RINEHART
Today I had a lovely flight from Goa to Navi Mumbai. Falak, one of the crew members had been to @museumofgoa and had met me. I got a very warm welcome on board. Indigo’s inflight magazine HELLO had a picture of a RHINO .I drew on it and converted it to Rinehart. I was happy to receive a card signed by all the crew members.

Mangoes from Mapusa Market, Goa. 🥭

Need help identifying the last four mangoes.

All other names sourced from the sellers directly and then cross checked with two others. :)

Also, go visit the Mangoes & Meaning Exhibition at @museumofgoa 10am to 6pm, Tue-Sun and enjoy some beautiful artworks by over 40+ artists! @mogartcafegoa also has the some delicious mango dishes - sheera, shakes, sasav, variety of pickles and chutneys.

Enjoyed learning every bit about mangoes this season and putting up the exhibition at the museum! Go see!

My Tagore drawing from 1982
I loved Rabindranath Tagore right from my college days. In 1982 I created this drawing for @navhindtimes on the occasion of the poet’s birthday. I was a medical student and also a cartoonist for the newspaper.
I wish that India will soon wake up to his dream of ‘where the mind is without fear…..’

INK DRAWINGS ON DISPOSABLE PLATES.
I love to try new surfaces for making my drawings. Today I tried disposable plates made of sugarcane bagasse. The effect I got was better than many papers .These plates are very light and easy to hang.I intend to display them in a box frame.

NAVI MUMBAI AIRPORT
One of my favourite architects Zaha Hadid has designed NAVI MUMBAI airport. I have my Performance Installation displayed on a 9 meter diameter giant screen at the departure area.
I can’t hide my pleasure when I see the work. It is such a great feeling when your work adds beauty to public areas….democratises contemporary art which is usually for the elite. I wish I get to present my works at Bus and Railway stations.
