With Gilles Peterson, Patrick Forge, Sylvester and a brilliant Galliano set, it felt less like looking back and more like the spirit of Dingwalls asserting itself all over again.
Not nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake a very real feeling of it.

I an so full of gratitude, for this beautiful day and for the music that sustains us in this increasingly crazed and cruel world. Two very life affirming sessions over the weekend and a gorgeous Spring day to follow. Thank you BBE Music,the 30th birthday celebration on Friday was the kind of party London hadn’t seen for many a moon, what a coming together, of people, DJs, music and energy. It was too difficult to get around that muchbut from what I witnessed and have seen since everyone played and danced out of their skins…Brighton Sundae was an absolute joy, how lovely to get back to a city that is very dear to me and to play for such a beautiful crowd. A mini Dingwalls by the sea…. this was my last tune, and we all should, now more than ever. ☮️💜🎶
