🚨It’s DONE! Downtown Carrollton just got a major glow-up!🚨

The massive 111’ silos are now home to an epic new mural—and It has been a dream to have curated this monumental public art project for the City of Carrollton.

We brought in the incredible @clyde_0000 from Phoenix to create a piece that captures ‘Who we are and where we’re going’ - from the rich history of trains to the bright future of DFW transit. And of course, in true Texas fashion, we went BIG… including a 100-foot bluebonnet and bold local florals wrapping the silos. 🌸💙

Huge thank you to Clyde and his powerhouse team for bringing this vision to life. This mural is a love letter to Texas—and just the beginning. We’re keeping the momentum going with more public art on the way!

Come see it for yourself. Carrollton just got a lot more colorful. 🎨💥

THE MAKING OF BIG PETE—In November 2025, a new giant quietly took root in the forests of Charlotte, NC. Meet Big Pete—a wooden troll imagined by artist @thomasdambo and brought to life by many hands and a lot of heart.

This short film pulls back the curtain on how he was built, why he matters, and the magic that happens when art, community, and nature collide.

Thomas Dambo’s work is rooted in sustainability—using recycled, reclaimed, and locally sourced materials to spark wonder while protecting the planet. Big Pete embodies this mission, reminding us how creativity can transform discarded materials into something meaningful. It’s a perfect fit for The River District, a community built around conservation, environmental stewardship, and a deep respect for the land.

This story, one I once was told, is about a troll named Pete,
And since he was just three years old, he walked on two big feet.
He leaped across the river deep and up the mountain steep,
But without something bittersweet, this story’s incomplete.

Pete, he was in love with everything around his feet
The flowers in the peat moss, roses, daisies, and the weeds.
But every time he moved his feet, his heart would skip a beat,
’Cause every step he took, he crushed the flowers underneath.

So Pete, he stopped to wonder at a heap of blooming buckwheat,
And wished his feet were more petite—he grieved them so gigantic.
He wondered, should he take a seat and slowly fall asleep,
Or should he keep on walking, in the hope to spread their seed?
