For this piece, I wanted to focus on the use of yellow. I realized that I haven’t used it much in my previous works so I figured I’d switch it up. It’s fascinating what color can do and how it affects the mood of the piece (and the viewer) directly and indirectly.

I compiled some drone footage from a recent mural project at Dahlia Village. Most of these shots were captured around sunset, with a few early-morning clips to catch the eastern light. Trying to time the light is an art form in and of itself lol.
Lots of change happening on the south side of the city, and it was a privilege to contribute a mural that could stand out across the landscape. Working at this scale makes me realize this is more than just painting—it’s environmental design. Looking forward to more projects like this and going even bigger this year.

Super excited to share our latest mural project “Shades of Hue” in partnership with the Dahlia Village apartment community. Today marks their official grand opening. With residents from all walks of life and various backgrounds, it was great to see a new affordable housing community form in the south side of Phoenix.
A huge thank you to Angela, Maleah, and the entire Dahlia team. This was a project rooted in collaboration, and we’re truly grateful for the opportunity to meet so many of the residents and bring a mural rich with intention to the South Side.
Shoutout to the homie @b8nkz for capturing the process. A truly talented individual so be sure to check out, and support, his work as well.
