He says, "My wife @professor.mal had always said I needed to write a song called “Bend the Knee”, primarily inspired by our love of Game of Thrones. I liked that idea as a starting point for a theme and felt it matched the energy of the developing musical composition nicely."

If there was any doubt that we had buried the hatchet following the turbulence of my departure from the group, I would say that the remnants of the hatchet were incinerated on stage."
