We are proud to welcome Chloe Landau with her first full-length release — an artist to watch, with a singular voice, sharp poetry, and a new language of femininity and empowerment.
Dreamhouse unfolds as a fragile, grotesque pop universe — moving between intimacy, war, and glamorous collapse. The album reflects the experience of a generation growing up in wartime Ukraine: deeply perceptive, forced to mature fast, yet still playful, alive, and radically creative.
Known for her uncompromising, hyper-sexy, feminine performances on stage, Chloe now opens a deeper space through her music. This record reveals the depth behind the persona — intimate, poetic, and fearless. Through her lyrics, written entirely in Ukrainian, we encounter both vulnerability and control, collapse and tenderness.

State of Latitude, the new album by Khrystyna Kirik, is out today on Standard Deviation.
A research-based sound document, the album is dedicated to four Ukrainian landscapes transformed by war — Sviati Hory, Syvash, Velykyi Chapelskyi Pid, and Kamianska Sich — translating environmental damage and disrupted natural rhythms into music. The project was originally developed as an audiovisual installation during the Echoes of the Earth residency at Kyiv’s ∄, in collaboration with @_u2203_ and ecologist Anna Kuzemko, supported by @goetheukraine.
The release comes ahead of Khrystyna’s performance on 31 January at Radialsystem as part of Disturbed Ground, a collaboration between Kyiv’s ∄ @theredoesnotexist.club and CTM Festival, supported by @goetheinstitut, where she presents The Core, a live audiovisual work with Mark Bain.

Standard Deviation presents Transitioning Practice — a split vinyl EP by Nastya Vogan and Phase Fatale.
Four tracks tracing memory, displacement, and return. Melancholic yet charged techno — made both for the dance floor and for moments of deep inner stillness.
The visual concept by @crosslucid expands the record’s scope beyond sound, turning personal references into potent symbols. Inspired by Paul Klee’s Angelus Novus, the artwork holds the weight of history while gesturing toward forgotten innocence and imagined beginnings.
The EP is now available on all platforms.

@khrystyna_kirik’s work moves between improvisation, electronics, voice, double bass, piano, and field recordings, shaped by a “beginner’s mind” — an attentive way of listening that allows the overlooked and the everyday to resonate. Trained in jazz and free improvisation, she approaches sound as something physical and relational, experienced through the body and shared collectively.
Kirik’s new album State of Latitude, released on Standard Deviation on 30.01, grows out of this practice — a work rooted in listening and presence, exploring subtle shifts between landscape, memory, and perception. The artwork was created by Myk Rudik (@u2203), under the artistic direction of @alen.hast.
On 31.01, Khrystyna performed at CTM Festival together with Mark Bain, presenting The Core as part of the broader project Disturbed Ground — a collaboration unfolding across performance, ecological and artistic research, and long-term exchange. The project is co-curated by ∄ (@theredoesnotexist.club), CTM Festival, @mariana_berezovskiiiii, alen hast, and Anastasiia Syradoieva from @u2203, and supported by @goetheinstitut. Корея (Koreia) by Chloe Landau is out now on all platforms.
The first single from Dreamhouse—her debut album and first release on Standard Deviation.
Chloe is the songwriter behind all of her music. Her lyrics are poetic, romantic, and apocalyptic—written entirely in Ukrainian—marking a new generation of Ukrainian songwriters and performers. Moving between fragility and control, Koreia speaks of war, codependency, and emotional collapse, carried by Chloe’s unmistakable presence.

We’re announcing Dreamhouse, the debut album by Chloe Landau — the newest addition to Standard Deviation and a rising voice of the Ukrainian underground.
The first single, Корея/Koreia, is out tomorrow on all platforms. Get ready.
Chloe is a Kyiv-based singer and songwriter whose music blends grotesque, confessional lyrics with glossy early-2000s pop energy — fragile, confrontational, and powerful at once. Singing about war, codependency, and collapse, she fully owns her presence.
