Rooted in the UK’s long-standing tradition of forward-thinking bass music, @_ebbs_flows was founded with a simple aim: to explore the emotional, atmospheric corners of electronic music without getting boxed in by genre. The label focuses on movement, texture, and depth - music that shifts, expands, and breathes.

His productions have always carried a distinct sense of restraint and weight, the kind of tension that sits between the beats and lingers long after they fade. The 23rd episode of FlowCast comes from New York. Wired through human imagination, the mix by @passwardy unfolds as a minimalism-to-maximalism composition, expanding from stripped-back forms into a wall-of-sound.

Opening in deep, textural space, fragments of bass, dub atmospheres, and hypnotic percussion form slow-moving sonic structures. The session pays tribute to early foundations of tripping sound, tracing a lineage from Juno Reactor (Metropolis Records) to Rockers Hi-Fi (Kruder & Dorfmeister Dub / G-Stone).

A labyrinth of evolving transitions in search of unseen frequency fusion, for the dancefloor and the space between thoughts.

Ebbs & Flows presents "Phase Weather" - a 19-track VA moving through half-time weight, broken trance, deep drone, mental tribe rhythms and experimental bass structures.

Built on shifting pressure, humid textures and low-lit atmospheres, the compilation explores sound in a constant state of transformation - where rhythm dissolves into texture, and familiar forms slowly slip out of shape.

The next chapter of FlowCast belongs to Jose, who was invited to open the Onyro party and was particularly pleased to shape the warm-up around the artist following him: Ghostdubs, with his fantastic live set.

Without losing the experimental perspective that runs through his work, Josephine put together a selection of tracks shaped by dub, sometimes in a more direct way, and other times more conceptually, allowing himself to simply follow the flow.

After a little hiatus, it’s time to get back to ‘The Doors of Perception’ EP. Today we’re looking at Alex - the artist behind our third release. In this body of work, he really wears his UK influences on his sleeve, morphing staple sounds from the worlds of drum and bass and dubstep into something much more introspective and subversive.

With contributions to labels such as Norite, Sungate, On Board Music and Bait, and with an ever-busy 2026 in the calendar, London-based Einerlei continues to hone his brain-bending, intricate sound. Fusing subtlety with a certain directness, he repeatedly - across a range of styles and influences - manages to capture and amplify unexpected atmospheric elements in his compositions.
