Rising from the sands of the Giza Plateau like a vision dreamt in stone, Echoes of the Infinite marks a powerful new chapter for StudioPROBA. Created in collaboration with @solid_nature/@davidmahyari, 'Forever Is Now 05' is a monumental installation for @artdegypte, that translates @alexproba's fluid, emotionally charged visual language into a meditative landscape of marble, onyx, travertine, and quartzite, her largest sculptural work to date and her Egyptian debut.
Far from a static monument, the work unfolds as a spatial journey. Three vast, sensuous forms emerge like artefacts of the future: a circular stone portal that perfectly frames the pyramids; a dark green winged sculpture recalling the Eye of Horus; rose-hued verticals that seem to rise and breathe from the desert floor. Each piece pulses with symbolic weight, drawing from Egyptian cosmology to reflect on protection, rebirth, cosmic rhythm and the looping passage of time.
"The materials already contain beauty and movement," says Proba. "I simply revealed what was already there." The result is a sculptural symphony that feels both ancient and otherworldly, shaped not by dominance, but by intuition and emotion. As SolidNature CEO David Mahyari puts it, "Stone is eternal. It forms, erodes, reshapes, and reforms over millennia."
With Echoes of the Infinite, Proba does not mimic history; instead, it reveals the quiet dialogue between the earth and humanity.

Looking Back – Part I: Jacquemus HQ
Some projects just feel special, this was one of them.
Working with Jacquemus and @oma.eu on their Paris headquarters was about more than just choosing the right stone. It was about finding the right tone. Something quiet, honest, and full of character, just like the brand itself.
From soft travertine details to bold stone volumes, every material choice helped shape a space that feels both effortless and intentional.
We’re proud to have been part of this one.

Beyond the surface.
A mountain holds more than stone. It holds colour you haven’t named yet. Texture that took 400 million years to form. Patterns no one has seen until the first cut is made.
We go to the source. Not to take, but to discover. Every quarry is an archive. Every slab, a revelation.

What happens to the stone that doesn’t make it into a project?
Last year, together with @martemei we puzzled. ‘Offcut Puzzle’ turns warehouse offcuts into new patterns for floors, walls and furniture. Nothing wasted. Everything reworked.
Stone remnants are scanned and rebuilt into seamless designs, ready to be shaped into many kinds of projects. Marte Mei creates the design, and we contribute our materials, expertise and production.
Elements of this work are now part of Marte Mei’s solo exhibition ‘Mending Lands’ at @stvincents Antwerp, a glimpse of what this collaboration can become at scale.

During Milan Design Week 2026, AMO/OMA (@oma.eu) and Solidnature (@solid_nature) transformed the supermarket into something surreal, replacing everyday groceries with stone objects ranging from red marble steaks to travertine sandwiches and onyx bananas. Titled ‘Il Sonno’, the installation celebrated the expressive potential of stone through a playful and immersive minimalist landscape designed by AMO director Samir Bantal.
Now, for one month only, 12 of the supermarket’s most memorable pieces are available to pre-order, including Flamingo Nebula marble milk bottles and sandwiches layered with red marble and green onyx. Each object is entirely unique, shaped by the natural texture and chromatic variation of the stone itself.

What if everyday spaces were shaped by long-term value, purpose, and mindfulness?
Detailing Il Sonno Supermarket.
By introducing natural stone into a setting defined by consumption, the installation repositions material as a carrier of value. Durable, timeless, and deeply connected to the earth, stone challenges the logic of disposability and invites a more conscious way of engaging with the everyday.
All pieces are crafted from off cuts of later-scale projects and precious installations, reinforcing a cycle where material is continuously revalued rather than discarded.
A shift from transaction to reflection.

what if your next supermarket visit felt like a dream? ☁️
inside ROOM FOR DREAMS, @solid_nature’s @davidmahyari and @oma.eu’s @samirbantal transform the familiar into something quietly surreal. shelves are lined with objects carved from stone, products that can no longer be used, only contemplated.
the rush of consumption slows to a pause. time feels suspended.
In the ‘il sonno’ installation, the everyday becomes a space for reflection, where value shifts from speed to permanence, and where even the smallest choices begin to shape a different future.
