Yes, we went all the way to Puerto Vallarta for some very delicious tacos. 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

I recently participated at my first CrossFit competition and these pictures were taken right after I finished each of the 4 workouts. You can see the pain progression accumulated with eventually the death stare at the very end. 😵😅🤣

I think I’ve finally fully recovered from my 2nd Canadian Dragon Boat Championship trip. The dopamine drop when I came back hit me real hard but I’m good now. I am so so proud of our tiny island paddling club and our accomplishments. We’ve put it all out on the water but there are still lots of work to be done. I look forward to the progress we’ll be making in the future. Congratulations to our premier small crew women and all other teams that qualified to go to worlds in Italy next year! Good luck to all national team folks competing next month in Thailand!

I’ve yet again made a full rotation around the sun. I’m very thankful for all that has happened this past year and for everyone that I’ve spent it with. Thank you everybody for all the kind birthday wishes!!

Regina was not on my list of top cities in Canada I want to visit, but I’ve got to say that my time there was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Competing at at my very first National Dragon Boat Festival alongside some of the best teams in Canada is an honour and a privilege especially because I haven’t been in the sport for super long. Coming in 8th in the 500m and 9th in the 200m in our division are great accomplishments considering my team has only been put together less than a year ago. Lots of memories were made, several teammate friendships were strengthened, tons of sweat and tears were shed, and new tan lines were created. And just as I am somewhat getting back to normal everyday routine from being in Regina for a week, I’m off again to new adventures in Calgary and Canmore.

My dragon boat team won some medals over this past weekend in Vancouver! 🙌🥇🙌 We’re on boat #4, fourth boat from the right side of the video. 🥵😱 Even with the win, we’ve still got lots to work on before our next competition in less than 2 weeks.

This was taken a year ago today at the Cup Noodle Museum in Yokohama, Japan. As you can tell from my facial expression, I was really stoked about hugging the giant noodle cup!! Photo cred: @kimuchinoodles
