It’s been one week since I got back from the certification! A couple of takeaways -
My whole posture changed
I became more fluid each day ( how…how… I know how -> guidance and instruction of @ellimay6 & @chromepoler )
My torso is much more active in my movement, and more internally than that, my spine

I wonder if there’s anything different that you [viewers] can spot from day one and day three of the @liquidmotionct pole certification? Apart from the variation of skin showing 😌

Although I have been a student of @jenijanoisliquid for a good many hours and an admirer for longer, there is nothing like the work put into improving yourself. Studying and integrating movement in the body takes countless time. Furthermore, the ability to then perform material takes separate training and a sturdy mindset. Adrenaline can only carry you so far, and the results are sometimes different than your initial plan -

I am so grateful to have re chosen the path of artistry. As the world constantly evolves it is tough to be grounded in who you are. With love, I remember. With breath, I gently comfort. With determination, I set goals and steadily move forward.

Stage time at @stagetimenyc after their fantabulous show. To be in a space where friends were found and new ones were made is so so special.

I’ve never sought out the spotlight. It feels amazing to bask in it while performing. And now, it feels so good to say I’m dancing again. No shame, less fear, more confidence.
