Let's continue with the introduction of participating artists, from whom you can see one or more artworks in the HALLENKUNST group exhibtion from August 28, 2025, to September 21, 2025 - we welcome CMP ONE (@_cmp_one_) from Næstved, Denmark 🇩🇰 💯🎨

The Danish graffiti artist belongs to the first generation of graffiti writers in Europe and was, among other things, the publisher of the first Scandinavian graffiti magazine, FANTAZIE. CMP will be familiar to many from the nineties and noughties, or they may have heard him in season 02 of the documentary series RISE OF GRAFFITI WRITING “From New York To Europe” (@teamredtower @ilovegraffiti.de @arte.tv)

What strongly influenced the Danish graffiti artist back in the eighties and nineties can still be found in his art today: romanticized New York subway scenarios, people with baseball caps and boomboxes in train stations. The artist CMP has long since arrived in a spacious studio, paints large-format murals, curates projects in his hometown Næstved and lives his past today like a dream, a fetish. We are super happy to welcome CMP in Chemnitz, Germany end of August 2025 💯

The Danish graffiti artist belongs to the first generation of graffiti writers in Europe and was, among other things, the publisher of the first Scandinavian graffiti magazine, FANTAZIE. CMP will be familiar to many from the nineties and noughties, or they may have heard him in season 02 of the documentary series RISE OF GRAFFITI WRITING “From New York To Europe” (@teamredtower @ilovegraffiti.de @arte.tv)

What strongly influenced the Danish graffiti artist back in the eighties and nineties can still be found in his art today: romanticized New York subway scenarios, people with baseball caps and boomboxes in train stations. The artist CMP has long since arrived in a spacious studio, paints large-format murals, curates projects in his hometown Næstved and lives his past today like a dream, a fetish.
