A heartfelt recap of our Contemporary Mongolian Art Exhibition, held during Tsagaan Sar, our Lunar New Year - a moment that felt deeply special to us.

To gather around contemporary Mongolian art while welcoming Tsagaan Sar was powerful and emotional. It reminded us why we do this work, to create space for dialogue, connection and cultural continuity across borders and generations. Seeing tradition and contemporary expression meet in one room felt like honoring both our roots and our future at the same time.

We are truly grateful to every artist who trusted us, every collaborator who supported us and every guest who showed up with openness and curiosity. Your presence made this more than an exhibition, you made it a shared celebration.

WORD OF THE WIND
From Mongolia to Paris

Carried by the flow of the wind, this exhibition brings contemporary Mongolian artists from the steppe to Paris. Opening during Tsagaan Sar, the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse - a symbol of strength, movement and renewal - the exhibition reflects journeys across geographies, cultures and artistic practices.

Presented by 229 LAB × Vibration, the exhibition gathers voices from Mongolia and its diaspora, offering a dynamic perspective on contemporary Mongolian art today.
