Card divination is inextricably linked to Roxy Toledo Munrose's artistic practice, and an intimate connection with their lineage.

Their embroidery carries the symbolic narratives of the tarot as well as the stories of their ancestors, the soothsayers.

For Roxy, card divination is both an expressive language and a lived practice.

The group exhibition Yesterday is Tomorrow is on view from 9 April to 24 July 2026 at ERIAC Art Space in Berlin.

Featuring Roxy Toledo Munrose (UK), Aliz Farkas (HU), Roland Farkas (NL), and Rašid Nikolić (IT), it traces interwoven narratives across time, memory, and material form.

🍃 Join us for the opening of Yesterday is Tomorrow: Spring Salon at ERIAC on April 8, World Roma Day!

This group exhibition explores how traditional craft practices re-emerge in contemporary art as sites of innovation, memory, and cultural resilience.

Through works by Aliz Farkas, Roland Farkas, Rašid Nikolić, and Roxy Toledo Munrose, inherited techniques are re-enacted within new artistic contexts, becoming sculpture, performance, narrative, and installation.

The opening on April 8 takes place in the presence of the artists and features a marionette performance by ‘paramiśar’ Rašid Nikolić, followed by a conversation exploring how heritage is negotiated within the complexities of the present.

@aliz._.farkas @a__wolf_1 @rtmunrose @eriac_org @theparamisar
