This was a dirtbike vacation that @poltarres13 and his best friends and movie crew @trece.racing_society came to Moab Utah and honored us with their presence.
We didn't just ride, we shared a home, we went karaoke singing, we shot the shit and we broke bread together.
It was a dream and I still can't believe we did this

Without a doubt I have been a big critic of Triumph adventure bikes. So you can believe me when I say. This is the best out of the box bike I’ve ever ridden. It’s sooooo good and so fun. I have had to learn to leave it in 1st and just let that little 250 sing. But believe you me. She EATS! I am Beyond stoked on this little beast. Triumph really came out swinging and built a banger bone stock that doesn’t need big tuning and Susp work out of the box.

I NEVER pictured myself on a Triumph, But….
.
Here we are! 2026 Triumph tf250e! A few minutes on this bike and I was absolutely blown away. A few clicker adjustments and set the tire pressure and I could not believe how good this bike is out of the box! Dropped in at the dealer and spun around on one expecting this first draft bike to not be that great. Boy was I wrong, I was so impressed I took one home.!

A jaunt at Red River Scramble confirmed my purchase as each corner left me with a huge grin on my face.
.
Out of the box this bike runs perfect. Cold start off idle there’s 0 hesitation. No sputtering or stalling. No need to spend another $1500 to toss the Emissions and throw an exhaust and tune at it.Triumph also has a factory WiFi tuner for $250! Which is wild! I tried to make this little 250 4t stall and I couldn’t. And if you’ve ever ridden a 250 you’d understand how impressive that is.

With an extremely polished fit and finish and some of the best parts in the industry this bike is stacked.

The ergos out of the box were very comfortable for a taller rider like me. I don’t think I’ve ever been instantly comfortable on a bike and I’ve definitely never been so fast on a bike.

After watching Johnny walker slay on one at Erzberg I figured it was time to take a fresh look at modern 4t that almost weigh the same as modern fuel injected 2t and man, I’ve been a 2t guy for a long time. But the power and smooth predictable delivery on this bike may have converted me.

Good times racing the big bikes today! Great ADV turnout with 9 big bikes showing up. @overkillandy got the hole shot, motocross @benibi36 quickly made the pass on the track and @overkillandy pulled out his best defense holding me off for two laps before I was able to make the pass and take 2nd place. 🥈

Well, that escalated quickly 🙃 Horseshoe is a single track trail rated as a red dirt bike route (harder than black apparently) on @onxoffroad.10/10 would ride again but only with the right crew.The trail climbs 3,000 feet across 5 miles but with the single track needed to get there was a 34 mile day with a 5,000 foot elevation gain.

The trail starts innocently enough with embedded rocks and silty loose dirt that quickly escalates to an unrelenting climb with rocks of every flavor.Big, little, loose, wet, name your poison, this trail’s got it.

@the_tippy_tenere was a freaking beast and didn’t complain despite running out of food, water and daylight.
@overkillandy complained a lot. Mostly about me. 😂.
Jk, everyone was a trooper.You have to be on a trail that just does not stop beating you up.
