As a creative director and image consultant, I’m usually the one shaping the vision—but today I’m “warming up the seat,” and honestly… loving these test shots. There’s something powerful about experiencing the process from both sides of the lens. It sharpens the eye, deepens the collaboration, and reminds me how much intention goes into every frame. ✨💛✨

Yesterday, Harmony and I had the joy of photographing @allisonhenrich Seattle University professor, award-winning author, mentor, mathematician, and an absolute force. Brilliant, dynamic, and completely at ease in her power.

Working alongside Harmony is always its own kind of magic. Her creative intuition and styling expertise elevate every frame we make together, and I never stop being grateful that I get to build meaningful work with a dear friend.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance on repeat, laughter filling the studio, and the kind of collaborative energy that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

For quite a while, the camera and I took a bit of a break. Life stepped forward, and there was a level of work to do that no one could have prepared me for.
So this series became an enjoyable way back… a warm-up of sorts.
Not every portrait needs to explain itself.
No expression to decode.
