💙On Blue Monday, officially the most depressing day of the year, I want to share an image and story from the happiest week of my life...
🇺🇸 Di Lido Island, Miami FL
There’s a very funny story about receiving the address for this last minute change of our accommodation on my first trip to the Winter Music Conference. Having photographed a wedding in Austin TX the weekend before, my flight got me into Miami a few hours before the boy’s flight landed from London. I’d hastily asked for our new address prior to my flight taking off but nothing back until my phone connected again in Miami... The message read “See you there, we’re only a few hours behind you, it’s 1 E Dildo Dr, Dildo Island, Miami...” Well, there was no way I was bold enough to ask a Taxi to take me to Dildo Island....🍆 🏝 (this was before making such wonderful friendships in such a great city). The most amusing example of my dyslexia, one I’ve only shared verbally before... ☀️🕶🎶
Eddie Irvine’s villa on Dilido Drive was a truly amazing place to stay, offering a backdrop for a week of stunning photography...
