Sharing somatic work sequences at @evolutionofbreath training.
Somatic work is about supporting the nervous system feel safe enough to soften, little by little.
For some people, deep cathartic practices can feel releasing. But for others — especially those living with anxiety, overwhelm, or deep freeze states — the body may need something much gentler first.
Slow nose breathing. Very small and soft movements.
Grounding. Restoring a sense of safety inside the body.
Somatics works through the connection between the body and the nervous system. Trauma lives in the body, in tension patterns, survival responses, and unconscious holding. Through gentle awareness and regulation, the body can begin to release.
Healing does not have to be intense to be real. Sometimes the softest practices are the ones that allow our system to finally feel safe to open, at its own pace.

Offering my Vocal Alchemy workshop at the @evolutionofbreath training. Exploring the topic of suppression of our expression in childhood and transforming it into joy and play.
I am so proud of seeing participants courageously stepping in, singing and improvising in front of others for the very first time. This is the real transformation: surprising ourselves doing something new, stepping out of our comfort zone, following the fear as treasure, and most of all not taking ourselves too seriously and remaining playful through the depth of the work.
Grateful for the space to share this work.
