.
Mexican tribal was born from a collective pulse: the need to reconnect with a fractured history, and with the memory of what was once taken away. From echoes that traveled across distant territories and continents, a fusion of tribal sounds began to take shape, eventually finding its own distinct form: Mexican tribal.
“Incorregible” was born from a personal need for belonging and reimagining. It comes from my desire to understand where I come from, to look inward, and to honor what I love most. It is a sonic project of introspection in which ideas, symbols, landscapes, and influences from the places that have touched and transformed me converge.
The music is built from instruments and sounds from nature that belong to the American continent, accompanied by poems and melodies that evoke the festive strength of our Latin American culture.
This album is a journey toward the elements I consider essential, the ones I wish to preserve above all else: memory, roots, intuition, ritual, and connection.

@eck_echo teams up with Chiang-Mai based @animistrecords to bring you @apichatpakwanofficial live in concert at Neukölln’s @arkaodaberlin .
Continuing our collaborations with subtropical sound pushers of the global south we are happy to co-produce Apichat Pakwan’s unique proposal where modern Thai “Isan” traditions meet dub aesthetics, boiled in a sizzling broth of funk and psychedelia . Featured in the soundtrack of White Lotus’ Thailand Season 3, the band will include this and other songs of their upcoming album in this one-time Berlin concert.
FULL LINEUP:
@memeshift (Hybrid set): Sound researcher Sully Morgan is an active component of the Soy Division crew and the founder of the L-KW label. His collaboration with both latin and middle-east managed platforms Radical Sounds Latinamerica and Morphine Raum are fostering the kind of networks that we love and therefore we feel humbled to host him performing a hybrid set for the hybrid crowds :)
-DJ Support:
From Barcelona we are joined by the red-haired vinyl selectress and all-round Eck Echo team member @red.bananna . Plus more unpredictable - all global longitudinal lines expected- tropical selections by Eck Echo’s and Animists’ very own homegrown DJs.

Egypt’s contemporary music scene is being built in rooftops, basements, wedding halls, home studios and nights that move between cities.
In our latest deep dive into the country’s underground, Juan Valero and Diego Hernández speak to artists including Azzouni, Jana, El Kontessa, El Mokh and Rozer, tracing the collectives, releases and improvised spaces shaping the sound in Cairo and beyond.
From mahraganat, rap and shaabi to grime, bass, footwork, breaks and baile funk, we’ve explored how these sounds are being reworked across Egypt right now.

We are happiest to announce the new musical project of @djrosapistola with “Conejo y Luna” single and video out now from her upcoming album INCORREGIBLE out on @eck_echo records - links and preorder in bio
Mexican Tribal music caught our ears in amazement a while back during the UK Bass explosion and we wondered when it can continue infusing the dancefloors this and that side of the world and now we are humbled to provide a platform to continue the path from the prehispanic calm before the storm into the unknown fragmented future
Conejo y Luna is a poem written and sung in Nahuatl by Maribel Galicia. Walk to the moon with us for what’s coming—

Remix bells are ringing. We met in Barcelona with our dearest @djphran to mix and boombast @ngwakasonsysteme’s “Mokili Na Poche” tracks. After a round of filter sweeps and EQs we were joined in the studio by moroccan musician Zine El Abidine aka Zeal and from a synths and stabs session Mayumba’s remix came to life. Catch this dancefloor mellow while still flying down the rooftops of Poble Nou. Eck Echo bridging Congo with Maghreb via Venezuela. Lipate EP and our music workshop project out February 27th 2026
