THINK HEADBUTT EPISODE 1: Sydfalls live: Braiding Art and Electronic Music.

An exclusive project imagined, directed and produced by Vanille Ferragu and Marie Manguele. Watch the full 26min video on youtube (link in bio) take the time to THINK.

« Braiding speaks to us of patience, transmission, and beauty passed down through generations, sometimes through pain, sometimes through joy or necessity. We grew up learning to take this time for ourselves, away from the outside world, as an intimate ritual that instills the confidence to be ourselves. This moment is placed in the hands of those who offer this time, these hours, and their savoir-faire.

For this first episode, HEADBUTT invites Ushka, a Parisian artist and hairstylist, to showcase his art on Sydfalls an artist, producer, and DJ from Chicago. It’s a meeting of two worlds, blending music and braiding, both speaking of patience and time, like an artistic conversation where the music evolves along with the exchange.

The live set features Roland TR8-S, Moogerfooger MF-108S Cluster Flux, AKAI Professional APC 40 Mk2 via Ableton, and the ZOIA effect pedal, performed by Sydfalls with Ushka on hair.

This piece presents itself as a living tableau, permeated by an earthy palette and material effects that establish a suspended temporality. The bodies, held in an unstable stillness, inscribe the scene within a figurative art in which the human presence prevails over any form of abstraction.

Carried by the THINK HEADBUTT aesthetic, the piece explores an instinctive movement that precedes any formalized intention. The soundscape by Sina XX offers an abstract, granular techno that shapes the atmosphere, while the movement direction guides the dancers (BOSTOG, CELESTE, SNAKE) toward a space re-centered on sensation.

Around a sculpture by Clémence Mars & Thomas Lelouch, the bodies move through tension and silence, allowing an organic warmth to emergewhere movement does not narrate, but is felt.

Cannelle will doing her France debut in FVTVR tomorrow. The NYC/LA based rising icon, finds influences in electro-pop and EDM music with a very modern touch to it. If you don’t know LUCKY, DIAMOND CUTS and FILLE then you should definitely go it out. From singer, creative director, song-writer, model and stylist, cannelle know how to create her own world.

HEADBUTT presents:Thjerza Balaj

Choreographer and dancer, who will present her performance Ruzalka on Friday at FVTVR, a feminist, techno, and visceral reimagining of the Slavic folkloric figure known for seducing men and dragging them to the bottom of the sea.

The piece explores how a woman’s presence in nightlife is often misread, and turns that tension into strength.

Après plus d’un an d’absence en format club, HEADBUTT signe son grand retour au club FVTVR.

Un lineup international, des retrouvailles attendues, et des performances exclusives pour une nuit d’été qui s’annonce mémorable.

Soraya, venue de Berlin, nous plongera dans une techno aux racines profondes, quelque part entre Détroit et une transe hypnotique.

Le duo mythique Behzad & Amarou signe son grand retour, figures pionnières de la scène électronique parisienne connu pour leur exploration musicale sans étiquette, avec des textures organiques, des breaks inattendus, des basses profondes et ce sens du groove qui ne triche pas.

Vanille, reine de la fusion entre transe et techno, nous guidera vers l’extase collective, et accompagnera pour l’occasion sa petite sœur Cannelle, basée aux États-Unis, pour son tout premier showcase en France.

Et comme HEADBUTT ne fait jamais les choses à moitié, des performances spéciales viendront ponctuer la nuit : Thjerza de Copenhague, Boston de Bruxelles, Bjoley d’Amsterdam et Céleste, muse lumineuse du collectif.
