信楽で制作した彫刻作品のほか、ぐにゃりと曲がった抹茶碗や酒器も発表します🌈😀🚲

B-OWND Gallery初となる陶芸家・美術家 宮下サトシの個展“Mind Wandering”を開催いたします。
＜ “Mind Wandering” -Satoshi Miyashita Solo Exhibition- ＞
日々多くの情報を受信する現代では、悩み、憤り、喜び、等様々な感情が渦巻く。クレイアニメーションのように、繰り返す変化の一瞬を捉えた作品には、宮下のその時々の感情が含まれている。
宮下は、身体性が直接伝わる手びねりの陶芸技法とゾートロープ等のアニメーション手法の掛け算によって、予期せぬ形を探る過程の集積から物語を紡ぎ出していく。この創造的なプロセスは、マインドワンダリングという絶えず感情や思考が彷徨っている感覚に深く結びついている。
マインドフルネス的な静謐な状態とは対極の様々な情報が渾然一体となるマインドワンダリングの状態からの創造を宮下は重要視する。それは、静謐な陶芸の世界に、アニメーションの持つダイナミズムと動的な物語を織り交ぜていくことであり、観る人々を物語へと没入させ、感情移入を通じた行動の変化をもたらす。
本展では、混沌の刹那から生まれた宮下の作品をお披露目致します。オブジェや酒器、茶器など多様な新作の数々を是非ご覧ください。
