The morning will include two distinct walking tours of Bristol focused on African American history. One tour is focused on Bristol's ties to the transatlantic slave trade, the other will take visitors through Bristol's 19th century free Black neighborhood, New Goree.

These live or hybrid program options provide a deep dive into the content, structure, and pedagogy of Investigating History. Sessions will include presentations from scholars and classroom practitioners, curriculum internalization with Primary Source program directors, and opportunities to work collaboratively with peers from around the state.
