We’ll be dancing in the moonlight under the biggest moon of the year as we celebrate the good in our lives and the transition of the seasons into Autumn.

In the ancient traditions the ‘Harvest Moon” was bright and low enough for farmers to gather crops well into the night during the most abundant time of the season. Though we won’t be gathering crops we’ll all be gathering on the dance floor of the Libbey Bowl in Ojai, CA and Poolside will be gathering together our best songs for this unique occasion.

Some of you may know, this is the ‘extension” of a private event series we used to put together with our community in order to foster connections with our all-too-busy friends and focus on the all-too-easy-to-forget gratitude for what is good in the world and the abundance we enjoy. In a world that seems to just move faster and faster and a social feed that seems to highlight the worst of humanity, we wanted to create something that focused on the opposite. To slow things down, to invite connection, and build something that fills us up.

These events were very dear to Natalie’s and I hearts and capture both the spirt of Poolside’s music as well as our values to not overlook that little shifts in perspective can bring meaning to an otherwise blurry experience of being alive in 2026.

This is our first effort to extend that spirit to our greater community and share a seasonally meaningful night together in song, dance, rhythm, and of course some surprises.

I can’t wait to share the night with you. So book your travel, reserve your hotel, renew your passport, clear your calendar and all of that stuff for a slow night together on this year’s Harvest Moon. Saturday, September 26th at Libby Bowl in Ojai, Ca.

All my friends’ bands in the mid 2000s were playing @coachella and I was a DJ at the time. Coachella didn’t really have DJs. I was lucky enough to play some Coachella parties like the @filter.magazine party in the first photo. But, throughout that time period I always wanted my band to play Coachella or to be booked at Coachella properly.

Eventually I gave up on my dreams. I knew it wasn’t going to happen for me. I was getting to be too old and my bands were all breaking up and then I started an indie rock band and never suspected anything would happen with it as a little side project to my DJ career.

That band was called Poolside and in 2014 we were booked to play Coachella and I got to fulfill that long-time dream I’d have of playing there.

Now it’s equally exciting to come back 12 years later and DJ @thedolab

Coachella has played an important part in Poolside’s story and in my history of being a music lover.

I’ll be bringing Daytime Disco to the stage from 5PM-6PM. Hope to see you there.
