Been struggling a lot with making anything, it seems fairly pointless in the face of…..the uncountable atrocities we’re witnessing. This phrase got stuck in my head during one of my desperate reading sessions that I’ve been diving into to try to make sense of senselessness.

This is a felt mini replica of the bombs NATO used in their 1999 bombing of Belgrade (and rest of Serbia). If you wanna know why, take me out of a coffee, let me talk however long I need to give you the story, and then go fact-check me (preferably with some non-US sources too).

I love the weird colors and shapes you see in any climbing gym, and the irony of making a space to practice navigating nature so unnatural-looking.

This is my first successful completed boulder problem embroidery from what will become my “embouldering” (s/o to @parallaxmoon for coining the term) series. I love the weird colors and shapes you see in any climbing gym, and the irony of making a space to practice navigating nature so unnatural-looking.

For me, climbing is not only a fun activity, but it’s also abundant with metaphor, which I will wax on about later. I do have a story to tell you about this one set-up, but I want to get the sweet stuff out of the way first:

This route was set by @claytonclimbs and Charles Simental for @inspire_routesetting. I originally peeped it when I scoured instagram for cool looking problems, and I found it on @sashamitty - check her out! The words were written by the haiku maestro @mutaurwa whilst I was rattling on about the ennui of navigating this sick sad world.
