The Fuse Factory (@thefusefactory) and A-Side Ambient teamed up to present an evening of power synthesis. Coming off the high of Lisa Bella Donna’s (@lisabelladonna) exemplar set the night before, Fuse Fest continued with Rain or Sine, A-Side Ambient’s seasonal performance at the sanctuary at Old First. We were fortunate that our spring iteration aligned with Fuse Fest’s stars. Slow Time Travel (@slow.timetravel) led the way with their cool and cavernous pads and street beats; CoastalDives (@coastaldives) led us down some roads less traveled in his discography and was immaculate as always; Frederick Foxtrott (@fredfoxtrott) capped the synth portion off with tracks inspired by the mid-aughts dance floor. @topherguenther led us into the night with a blazing DJ set at the end. It goes without saying that synthesis is an audio/visual practice and as our sounds decorated time, Michael Murtha (@badtripshow) decorated our space with liquid light, elevating us beyond ourselves.
