After multiple design iterations, we finalized a new design of the #SnapmakerU1 Top Cover. Made from tough, durable PC material, it’s built to last. The final version may vary slightly, as we continue optimizing it.

🚪Magnetic Front Door
Opens and closes magnetically, giving users easy access to the inner chamber without removing the entire Top Cover—so you can operate toolheads or other internal components with ease.

🌡️Auto High/Low-Temp Switching
- High-temp filaments (e.g., ABS/ASA/PA/PC): internal fan activates and air damper closes, circulating heat evenly for stable temperature.
- Low-temp filaments (e.g., PLA): temperature sensor triggers external fan and opens the damper to release excess heat, keeping extruder gears below softening points for smooth feeding.
Fan speed adjusts dynamically. No front door opening needed.

🌬️3-Layer Air Filtration Function
Pre-filter + HEPA12 + activated carbon.
Removes PM2.5, dust, odors, and harmful gases. Multiple passes ensure cleaner air.

🔇Noise Reduction

Just finished my unboxing and I’m genuinely excited to test this machine!

The U1 is a beginner-friendly high-speed 3D printer designed to make printing easier, cleaner, and more reliable right out of the box. I took the original design and made my own skater version out of it. Custom vinyl stickers, a piercing and I changed up the beanie logo.

Also, that NEON GREEN from @extrudr fits perfectly and even glows with the right light! 💚⚡

Printed in one single piece on the #snapmakeru1 …this little frog basically hopped right out of the printer! 🐸
