Laser Sights is an international jazz project founded in 2023 at Berklee by drummer/composer Mattia Muller. Blending improvisation with electronic and experimental sounds, they’ve performed across Europe and the US. After playing with Immanuel Wilkins at Lincoln Center, they now feature Mark Shim.

M2duO debuts a high-energy program blending Argentine tango, reimagined Japanese oldies, and original songs.

Celebrating 25 years of collaboration, M2duO—violinist Machiko Ozawa and pianist Makia Matsumura—reimagines Argentine tango through their signature interpretations of Japanese oldies and original compositions. Influenced by Astor Piazzolla, the duo’s sound reflects Ozawa’s international tango career and Matsumura’s improvisational work as a silent film accompanist.

Simon Metzger is a New York City-based jazz drummer, bandleader, and composer. His musical journey of almost twenty years has led him to work with world-class musicians such as Kendrick Scott, Clarence Penn, Peter Erskine, Jon Hatamiya, Paul Cornish, and Gerald Clayton. Simon’s humble and dedicated approach continues to establish himself as an emerging voice in contemporary jazz.
